so i was uni’ing back from my acapella practice and saw like 50 hipster riders just tricking out in front of a large flat ground riding spot. There were lights, flashes, some police, and had a riot like feel. Anyways, as i was riding down the beutiful mess on my uni (which is also a fixed gear), all the riders cheered me on and i got like at least ten fist bumps.
Quite awesome. just felt like I had to share. 
Cruiser rides are fun to join with a unicycle. You can actually keep up with them and they love to have you along. Soon the hipsters will all have to have a uni as the ultimate counter-counter culture riding device.
i bet you can do more tricks on a uni than any of them can do on a fixie.

Sorry, but I have to side with the bikes on the possibilities for tricks/skills/illusions/places to whore out. A bike simply has more shape to work with, which allows for more possibilities of riding positions and movements.
Then again, since a unicycle can move in ways a bicycle can’t, maybe that’s not true. The game is on!
