man i hate the rain, I wanna go outside and ride my unicycle but i dont like riding in the rain, becus its to slippery. I dont know what im gonna do when the snow comes
What type of pedals are you using? You may want some BMX or other metal pedals with pins.
Find somewhere inside to ride for the winter, and while its raining just watch unicycling videos or something. Also when its winter sliding on ice or riding on a skating rink is really fun.
well right now i got some plastic ones that came stock on the torker LX. I tried taking the pedals off my BMX bike but they were on there to tight to get off, but im gonna get some from a frend or order here some soon
good deal. Once you get confident in riding in weather you can do it as easily as in the sun :). The pinned pedals will help and I suggest SNAFU or DX pedals from the unicycle.com website. I’ve ridden my 36"er in rain, snow sleet and sun all without too many issues. (I’m not crazy enough to ride during a hailstorm). The only issue is when it gets to patches of black ice…but then again, its one wheel…on ice… so what can you expect.
i found the DX pedals on there but where are the SNAFU ones
nevermind i found them
If you seek, you will find.
Ride! Have you ridden in the snow yet? Its groovy baybay.
I feel you, brendon. My usual rig (qu-ax 20" splined) has horrible stock pedals for riding in the rain…I don’t have the funds to get some Snafus, so the tiniest bit of water throws me off.
