Peter Tosh
Jimmy Cliff
LKJ (Linton Kwesie Johnson)
Burning Spear
King Tubby
Horace Andy
Eek-A-Mouse
By the way… it’s spelt Reggae
Marcus Hoffman, designs speedboats, enjoys reggae on the weekends.
His head looks like a pie though.
but is not the head of pie-face records
Which Vince discovered, embarrasingly, and the whole story unravels like a hose that you have just spent the last 20 tedious minutes trying to get on to the hose holder rack.
Try Gregory Isacs (? not sure a boot the spelling ?)
Jacob Miller has a nice voice. Macka B, Groundation, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Yabby You. And many more. Those are my favorites (also Bob Marley, of course)
Peter Tosh rode unicycles. Even on one of his album covers. Start with him!
skindred is good
there like reggeu/ metal
If you like that kinda music you might like Sean Paul, it’s called dancehall I think.
Or raggamuffin. Who would know these days.
I think dancehall is the “empty” kind of reggae (that’s how I see it), when raggamuffin or ragga for short is sean paul style. I might be wrong here, so please correct me.
Is this another raggae singer?
If you like reggae you’ll love SKA
NOFX
A BILLION ERNIES
.
Not necessarily. At least not this ska. I like the “original” ska, but your example of ska was awful…no offense:D
My fav: Desmond Dekker. I think it is actually in the genre ‘Rock Steady’ or ‘Ska’.
And +1 for Eek- a Mouse
Is there any physical difference between rock steady and ska? Or ska and 2-tone? I read about it on wiki, but can’t figure out the difference
A sean-a-paul!
lil jon: YEAH!
