i just read more, guess i heard wrong…maybe its was a live performace with Wings doing Spirt of the Stairs that i over heard while at work? idk i just heard “stairs” from some morning jocks but now i know.
I thought you were making a connection with the Foghat guitarist that died after falling down a set of stairs about a week ago (see last couple posts in the “What Song” thread on page two right now).

]im here in melbourne and the story goes that he took his dogs our for a walk friday nighyt and didnt come home, he was found dead the next day in a park.
he had commited suicide after a long battle with depression
he leaves behind an 8yo and a 10yo daughter

It was very sad to hear about Hester taking his life, eventhough I admittingly have little pity for people who commit suicide. Crowded House is without a doubt one of the best bands to ever come out of Australia and in my opinion the best. They are one of my favorite bands from the 80’s.
What happened to the dogs that night? Are they left roaming the park?
