Buster the dog. November 26, 1996 to September 27, 2012. Good buddy, good riding partner.
Gazing at his domain.
MUni dog.
Bugger.
Sorry to hear the bad news Greg.
My condolences.
Great memories.
We lost our 12yo Lily over Labor Day weekend.
Great Muni Dog photo.
That’s one fit and trim dog in his younger years.
Buster looks good too
RIP Buster
Sorry to hear about Buster.
Hey, that Steve Howard MUni looks familiar. Did you bring that one home from Unicon 11?
Sympathies, man.
RIP Buster, I wish I could have ridden with you.
I read this thread this morning and at lunch time, I pat my she dog. I hadn’t taken the time to care for her (other than feeding and walking her out, mechanicaly) for a long time. I came to realise she won’t be here forever.
Thanks for that, Harper.
That pooch has had a rich life! Mountains, beaches, a warm and loving home, and a knobbly tire to chase after… you are very honorable to have given Buster the life he had.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your companion. I’ll share a toast of Bailey’s with my little furry friend tonight in honor of Buster’s 768/48 years on this Earth.
Sorry to hear about that.
only a view days ago i stumbled over this comic, drawn by another proud and caring dog owner (you never really own the dog).
Greetings
Dru
Dogs are amazing, we’ve lost two in the past two years (Cody 15, Haydon 15), fortuntaley, like Buster, they had long active lives.
Last month we rescued a little Australian Cattledog (Red Healer), she was on death row, covered in fleas, three kinds of intestinal worms, a bacterial infection, and really underweight.
This is “Nuna” two months later:
I’m sorry for your loss, Buster looks like he had a great life, maybe another buddy is out there waiting for you?
BTW, you all need to go read the comic byc linked, it is hysterical and so true!
I am a friendbeast!!
'Tis sad when furry friends pop off. Shall raise a glass (well, cup of tea. 10am’s too early for drinking, even remembrance drinking) to him.
Sorry to hear of your loss Greg. I have heard you mention Buster every time I have ridden with you.
Good buddies like Buster are cherished. Sorry for your loss.
Greg,
I’m very sorry about the death of Buster.
My condolences to you and your family.
Billy
So sorry, Greg, for the loss of your family member.
Sorry to hear about Buster’s death Greg.
It’s only because they are so awesome that it hurts so terribly when they go.
I’m guessing he ran across that Rainbow Bridge and wondered why there wasn’t a unicyclist riding the railing as a skinny.
RIP Buster.
Greg,
I’m truly sorry to hear about Buster. It is never easy to lose a friend.
