Barry was on the outskirts of unihoki in Johannesburg.
He was friends with Jason, one of our main players, and popped in to watch a couple of times.
Eventually the bug bit and he bought himself a uni and set about learning to ride.
Jason tells me he finally ‘got it’ quite recently.
A couple of days before he was T-boned by a car speeding thru a red light and killed instantly.

I’m really sorry to hear this. Apologies for my lack of words, I don’t really know how to respond to something like this at my young age.
People really need to be more careful in cars. My father had a friend who died from a drunk driver. Sadly these type of situations are very common anymore.
