Bottom right of a post there are two buttons, “edit” and “quote”. The “quote” button brings up the same page as the “reply” button but with the quoted text filled in.

Phil mentioned the easiest way. Once you get the hang of it you can copy what you want to quote during your reply, then type

[QUOTE
][i[B][/B]]Originally posted by whoever it was[i[B][/B]]
]Paste whatever it was they posted]
[/QUOTE

or alternatively you could click the Quote button in the reply and then type or paste whatever you want in. This comes in handy when you want to do more than one quote.
