I live right next to a university campus and on my first ride through campus after students moved in for the semester I heard a guy saying to his friend “it’s the unicycle guy! I’m tellin you there’s one on every campus.”
Not sure how broadly this applies but I can confirm there’s been at least one unicycle guy on every campus I’ve been on 
Just moved back to university a few days ago… Time to put on my unicycle guy face!

A couple days ago I prolly got a “Hi [Name of the other unicyclist in town]!” from a lady who stood behind me, but only realised it after riding away. If I was indeed mistaken, the lady clearly only looked at the unicycle to identify her acquaintance, 'cause the other guy is much taller than me
