is there anyway i can edit quicktime files through windows movie maker?
Not directly, I don’t think.
However, if you download a program such as SUPER, a free video conversion program (download link here), you will be able to convert your .mov to a .wmv that Windows Movie Maker can edit.
Happy hunting.
ok thanks i think im gonna try this new editing software a friend was telling me about, it’s supposed to be pretty good and it supports quicktime and windows media player files…
I use the RAD Video Tools to convert QuickTime files to AVI. Default settings will convert QuickTime files to uncompressed AVI. You can import the AVI files to Windows Movie Maker or most other editing tools. The RAD Video Tools is free.
