What r some amusing abbreviations u use that are specific to texting on your cellphones that u don’t use when IMing? Or are they all pretty much the same?

Cant think of any off hand (and im not in your age range) but the main point is for cellphone use you want as short as possible (fewest characters) to reduce your message length, but on IM you want whatever can be typed quickest. Umm, a weak example but fascin8d is shorter than fascinated but takes longer to type on a computer keyboard cos of finding the 8.

I always type fully (like I am now) and with correct grammar on IM though, it annoys me a lot when ppl tlk lke this.

It’s this thing called sarcasm.
I rarely talk like that on i/m or text message, I usually always make sure all of my grammar is correct before I send a message. Unless I am in a hurry, that is.
i usually just close my eyes and let my fingers fall upon whatever keys they fall upon. i close my eyes to keep it all un-biased. e.i.:

I try not to use IM shorthand… but sometimes I use some of it. Things like, “lol” ttyl, c ya later. But when people start to really annoy me, I say
“speak in English not in Dumb ass.”
Too much shorthand is just tedious… and ANNOYING!

Aw, I was hoping it would be “a new caaaaaar”.
I usually type fully out on IMs, cell phones, or anything else, but every now and then, ill be texting Sera from my comp, and notice my message is too long so ill go back and abbreviate the ‘to’ to ‘2’, and use ‘2mrow’ for tomorrow, and just anything else to make it understandable, and able to fit the character limit of the message.
