Hi all,
It’s been a while since I posted here, and a while since I unicycled. But my loss is your gain!
For sale is a German made QU-AX 24” mountain unicycle. It’s in fine shape. There is slight corrosion on the bearings but everything is in perfect structural shape (no dents or big scratches in the frame, trued wheel, no leaks in the tube, tires in good condition). It comes with a free Maxxis Hookworm tire, which is great for trials and street riding. The stock tire is a Duro Wildlife Leopard, a beefy dirt/trail tire. Bought new for $370 with the extra tire. Selling for $220+shipping.
The previous owner claimed that the frame was slightly bent, but I absolutely cannot notice it during the ride or through visual inspection.
Feel free to PM me or, better, text me at three four seven, two seven six, two four zero 8.
I apologize for using a CL posting, but it was going to be a pain in the ass to reduce all the pictures, and we would have ended up with lower quality.
What kind of cranks are those btw? Look like a cool uni, might be a bit pricey considering the progress made by unicycles since you bought it (ISIS cranks, light frames, etc).
And that’s true, you should consider the pricing of current uni to make sure you find the sweet spot (or people can make offers too, it won’t hurt if they stay polite ).
Thanks Sid for sharing your knowledge!
I would have been tempted, but the 175mm cranks that look like impossible to find nowadays in shorter versions are a bit of a turn off…
Hey guys, thanks for the advice. I’ve been really out of the loop. If anyone is interested in making an offer, please do! I’d love to get this into someone’s hands who can appreciate it more than I.
