Qu-Ax MUni & Trials Hub and Crankset on a Torker LX?

I was just curious, after destroying a hub/crank set on my Torker LX, would a Qu-Ax MUni & Trials hub and crankset fit? URL for set: http://www.unicycle.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=798

Thanks in advance!

Well the LX bearing holders are designed for 40mm OD I believe and the Qu-Ax you linked to is 42mm therefore the bearing holders will probably be too small. Having said that, some 40mm bearing holders are designed ‘poorly’ enough that they will fit 42mm as well.

Hmm… Any recommendation on a replacement set than? Thanks

If your braking the cotterless cranks and hubs on your LX, I would say its time to upgrade.

You could keep re-buying hubs, re-lacing them to your rim, and re-truing it every time, or taking off broken cranks, and putting on new ones, but it gets annoying, and the price adds up quickly.

If I was you, I would look at the Torker DX or the Qu-Ax for a cheap trials/street uni.

If you have the money, I would go for KH or Koxx.

If you insist on just replacing your LX, find out whats broke. If its the cranks, those can be anywhere from 10-50 dollars at your bikeshop or online, if its your hub thats actually bent, you can check unicycle.com.

I had it checked out at a shop, and its the hub and cranks. My DX will be here tomorrow  I just wanted a 24 in working condition to ride is all. Thanks again!

Awesome. DX are a heavy uni, but dont ever think the weight will effect your ability, it wont. Ill give you a whole 10mins to get used to the weight. Youll love it.
