Does anyone know any good proxy servers? at school I can’t go on anything… I would like to go on decent stuff and not the crappy school system. Anyone know any?
If it is mandatory for users to go thru your school proxy, your school won’t allow you to change of proxy.
You could just try doing your work while your there.
vtunnel is the main one i used a few years ago, but just so you know, they most likely have someone watching for stuff like that, and you will probably get in trouble if you do anything edgy.

What a concept! And yes, “your” proxy server, which is part of “your” network, is chosen by the network admins, and applies to that network. You can choose your own personal proxy server on your own personal network.
Not sure how vTunnel works, but I’d guess it probably violates the terms of use of the network you’re on…
i’m thinking it does, but it scrambles the address you are looking at into something that passes, and your browser descrambles it to something you can see.
i wasn’t exactly the best network user in my school, i managed to figure out how to send messages across the network and setup chats between myself and friends in other classes across the school… but it was always easier if they were in the same classroom.
I USED to use www.Ibypass(dot)(com) BUT, our school killed all the proxy servers!
Thanks for the servers, I can use proxy’s at school, but the administrators block them almost the same week… so with the ones I have been given, that is around… 7 weeks of ‘good’ internet:)
And yes, I do my schoolwork, I’m more refering to breaktime when we can go in the libary… Why stand outside for 20 minutes of break when I can be on youtube? 
I went on a proxy. Got a 3 week ban from the computers.
