Some of the older forumites will remember my many interminably droll write ups of rides around the National Water Sports Centre a few years ago.
I took my stepson Adam there this morning and he did a complete lap of the rowing lake (roughly 5 km) “in one” at the first time of asking, as well as ace-ing some of the trickier sections of made path and even some of the muddy unmade riverbank. He also did his first hills, up and down. (We live in the Lincolnshire flatlands.) All on a KH29 on 125s.
