Programming assignment

You guys will love this:

Collective assignment for next semester’s C/C++ class that will serve as
the final grade for everyone:

Create a decentralized music sharing service similar to napster able to
use any IRC server as its host.

LOL

Forwarded to RIAA (not really)

I think it’ll be fun. I’m going to be in charge of their lab (where
they’ll be doing this) so it sohuld be fun to see thme learn about IRC and
TCP/IP communications while actually doing something fun.

Yeah, I’ve dealt with IRC clients and servers before. It’s going to be fun
to watch a room full of “nontraditional” students try and figure it out.

I’m the Asst. Prof. in the class for C/C++ as well as advanced data
structures in Java. It gives me a chance to work on my skills while adding
another member to our small faculty.
