program for putting mpgs together?

Does anyone know of an application for “gluing” multiple mpg files
together to be one?

did you try
copy /b first.mpg + second.mpg combined.mpg ?
it works for mp3s so id assume it would work on mpg video.

Cat works on linux…

or on windows you can zip them with zero compression, and rename the .zip to
…mpg

a quick test with text files shows that this might just work… quite a
surprise to me.

Kind of related is there an easy app. to change .mov files to mpg or .avi.
