profile muni

I just purchased/recieved the Profile uni last week. The frame, hub, cranks, and rim are great. I was a little disappointed when I opened the box and saw a downhill saddle where a Myata seat should have been. But, my worries were over when I saw an aluminum spacer so I could run a Myata. The tire is a Maxxis 2.7. On the Muni Frames Repository the Profile frame is listed with an inside width of 2.93, he list the Gazz. 26x3 tire with an actual width of 2.75. Would it be possible to run a Gazz. tire on my frame? Does anyone have any experience with the profile Muni?

Using your numbers the Gaz 26x3.0/2.75 (actual) will give you 1/8th of an
inch on each side of your tire, which, for me is too little. You’ll get
mud/snow caking up and throwing you off. As well, if your wheel is not
exactly true you’ll get some rubbing.

The Gazz Jr 26x2.6/2.45" would give you 1/4 on each side, which should be
Ok. http://212.246.17.120/bike/downhill.html
