I dont think so. Somtimes you have to fight for what is right, and kill to protect others. That may sound bad, but its true. Bush is looking ahead, doing what is best for our future.
All valid points and worth noting. But no matter how hard we try we will never eliminate all terrorrists. New ones are born everyday and although in a perfect world it’d be nice to eliminate all of them, it’s just impossible. Being number one in the world, it’s just commen sense that people/countries are going to hate us and try and do bad stuff to us. I think a better solution than going out and trying to re-organize the world and get rid of terrosists would be to better protect the US. Meaning stronger and better security for people that come to the US. If all that money was used for better security, I don’t think we’d have many if any terrorists coming to the US.
Another point is that Bush is telling us Iraq was a threat but were they really? I just can’t believe that especially after not finding any WMD’s. I myself believe Bush and his people are telling us lies to make us support the war, just my opinion. I also think it has more to do with oil than anyother thing (terrorists, 9/11, etc.). Again these are just my opinions and beliefs on the subject.

I think mushrooms are disgusting, but I don’t want to ban them. but honestly, you can NOT have control over everyone else’s life. personally, I’m pretty much against anyone being gay too. I think it’s the wrong way. you can try to figure it out, and maybe try and talk them out of it, but don’t try to make the choice for them. because it’s not anyone’s choice but their own, I want to let people live how they choose to live, even if I feel it’s completely the wrong way. similar to how I think that marijuana is awful and no one should ever do it, but I think it should be legalized. that may not make sense, but it’s just because I think people should be able to choose for themselves what they want to do. the government shouldn’t act like our mommy.
Can I ask you if you’re old enough to be in the army/airforce? If so are you? If not are you going to be? Cause how can you say that we need this war and we should have this war but expect other people to fight it for you? As far as I’m concerned, anyone that supports Bush and his war should be enlisted and ready to fight. Put your words into actions.
I’m asking for tighter and better security. I think that’d do just as good as trying to eliminate terrorists cause it’ll never happen. Ya you might get a bunch but you’re just going to piss off the terrorists friends and make them mad and re-group so they do worst things to us.
If Bush was looking ahead for the future, he’d be more concerned about mother earth, global warming and the such. But it’s been shown he could give a damn about most enviromental issues.
you’re pretty much exactly right about all that. however…not everyone wants to, which of course is bad, but if EVERYONE was trying to go put their lives on the line for their country and everyone wanted to do that, then it wouldn’t be the same…when a soldier comes home from war, it’s a huge thing, because he just put himself out there and he did not need to, he did it because he loves his country. if everyone was like that, soldier’s would be coming home all the time, it wouldn’t be a big deal. honestly, it’s a stupid thing, just how we perceive it, but seriously, I think it does make a difference that only the people who want to do it, and only the best of the best, are the ones out there. I want to help my country, but I’m not going to go and shoot up a bunch of Iraqi’s or anything like that. that’s just not who I am. there’s a lot of things that I can do to help our world become a better place right here in this country, you don’t need to fly across the world to make a difference.

I myself dont want to persenally go in the military. Its not my thing. But the army has plenty volenteers. Its not like theres a draft.
I’ve seen news stories were a soldeir had his arm blown off, and had a prosthetic arm, and was inpateint to get back into action. I’ve seen were a paralized guy bedridden was wistfully wishing he was unable to do more for his country.
The military is very patriotic, and very supportive of Bush and whats being done. If you go over there and ask the service men and women in Iraq, you’ll hear a lot different than what you’ll hear from the majority of media.
Can you try to further explain yourself because I just don’t get it when people say one thing and do another? How can you say you’re for the war and it’s good and we need to fight when you yourself won’t actually do that same thing? I have a real hard time comprehending that and if you could help me to understand I’d appreciate it. Yes we’ve been lucky and have had many volunteers but we are running out and it’s my guess that there will be a draft in the near future if things keep going the way they are. So be ready. Also, who’s “thing” is it to go fight and kill people?
I know there are a lot of military people that are very patriotic and would do anything to help fight but lets not forget who’s teaching these kids which would be the president and his posse. Of course they are going to support the president because they are being brainwashed (in my opinion) and have to be because otherwise they wouldn’t have a reason to fight. Cause if they don’t agree with the president it’d be contradictory to fight for someone they don’t believe in. I know many friends that are in the military and can almost garantee they are being brainwashed and being told propaganda everyday just so they are willing to fight and have reasons to fight. I do respect them for doing what they do but I dont respect the pres. for doing what he does and making them do what they do.

The truth is the terrorists are going to hate the biggest country in the block. If it wasn’t the US it’d be the EU or someone else. Anyone who becomes a world power becomes their enemy. Any country that needs oil becomes their enemy. Any country that interacts at all with the Middle East becomes their enemy. Any society that has evolved into the 20th century is their enemy.

personally, I’m against people being gay, but it’s not my place to tell them what to do…they have to make the choice on their own. I do think being gay is the wrong choice, come on, there’s a reason guys have penises and girls have vaginas. I’m not saying you can’t love other people of the same sex, go right ahead…many of my best friends are guys, and I would say I love them. but that doesn’t mean I want to make out, have sex, and/or marry them. I think getting married to someone of the same sex is pointless, and is based more on lust than on love.

well, people are definitely not born homosexual. and I disagree with you some. I don’t think you’re completely right that people would choose to be straight. because there are people who tell them it’s okay to be gay, and there’s Gay/Straight Alliance clubs, gay bars, it is accepted a helluva lot more than it used to be. and I think that one reason people choose to be gay, is almost to rebel, it’s like they’re saying ,“look at me, I’m different, WHAT YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT??” my friend is in Toronto right now, where they had that big ol’ Gay Pride Parade. she told me in an e-mail about how she was on the metro, and a woman came on that had a shirt on pointing to her breasts, with the words I NEED A WOMAN. now, tell me, why do homosexual people like to broadcast the fact that they’re homosexual? especially if it means they’ll be discriminated like you said. Clinton was the worst president. He brought our contry into the whole worlds eye with a sex scandle. He also inflated the stock market so you cant blame the whole thing on Bush because it would have happend to Kerry and it wouldn’t be his falt either.
