Hi,
I have only just found the bit in last weekends “The independent on Sunday”. It
is tucked in at the end of section marked “Missionaries to the impossible” about
world record attempts this summer.
It read: Finally , more news of our unicycling chums. Rob Ambrose, a 19-year-old
some what saddle-sore Oxford theology student, was yesterday celebrating the
completion of his one-wheel hike from Land’s End to John O’Groats in 12 days 1hr
59min, lopping more than two days off the 14-year-old record.
This is only the week after we got a couple of inches about UNICON and a month
after the article about Kaleigh which was almost a whole page, plus a big
picture. I think we have a friend in Alan Hibbard.
