Who is you nominee for the best candidate, and why do you think so? I’m wondering if there are more democratic unicyclists than republicans.
Go Obama!
He’s determined, original, and progressive. He is religious but he doesn’t let it affect his politics. He may be “inexperienced,” but look at the experience Cheney had, for example, and his decisions made in the past few years. Obama seems pretty determined to bring change to America, and possibly recover our dwindling reputation. We need that.
I’m with Tyler. Obama isn’t really the best in my book though. He’s got a chance of being elected though which is important.
But I’m not a dimmycrat. I don’t really like dimmycrats much actually. They’re too conservative!!
I just support whoever I think is a good candidate…
And what ever happened to “conservatives”? I’d be curious to see who, in Washington, actually remembers what their party’s platform is.
I agree. Hillary is definitely a neo-dimmycrat. Quite conservative, really. I like Edwards and Obama lots, and I love how Hillary lost last night’s caucus after spending significantly more than the other candidates.
I was surprised at Ron Paul’s low numbers - I thought he was a decent Republican. I’m curious about the preferred candidate of Republican unicyclists. Anybody? Anybody? Beuler?
Ron Paul SHOULD win…but he won’t…unfortunatley…
oh yahz
IZ MAH 200THF POST!!!
+1
Fred Thompson.
JC is the ONLY main man. There can be no other.
Fred Thompson…or Ron Paul
I’m not a big fan of Huckabee, nor of Romney either.
I will write myself in while in the booth. My platform supports the construction of Super Wal-Mart chicken tender only stands across America.
My only issue is that we have to put up with the next eleven months if incessant political advertising on TV, yard signs, etc. etc. etc. etc. and so on, and so on, ad nauseum, ad nauseum, ad nauseum. It really gets to be overwhelming.
I would hope so.
As for Ron Paul, low numbers happen when no TV stations choose to show any coverage about you.
Not to mention them cutting into the middle of my tv show by turning off the shows volume to play some stupid newsish sounding loop so I could read who the projected winner of the Iowa Caucus is.
I don’t live in Iowa, I don’t care who wins their, why would I care who they think wins?
It really pisses me off.
Why won’t he? He has more money in the bank than any other republican (which means he can advertise), except for Romney who loans himself money. He has done well in the polls, considering who they are polling (they poll people with landlines and who were Republicans last time around… ie, the opposite of those who support RP). He did good in Iowa considering that the demographic there is being a beneficiary of farm subsidies and they have a strong religious crowd. We’ll start to see more when Wyoming, NH, SC, and Nevada have their primaries.
I’m pretty happy that Obama and Huckabee won
If either one of them wins, I’ll be happy
But I’d much rather have Obama
I said it before and I’ll say it again:
Why are US presidential election years also leap years? We certainly don’t need that extra day of campaigning.
We should choose our political leaders by a good round of indian leg wrestling…one day only.
What’s your definition of conservative?
…I think huckleberry should win.
Rizzle Pizzle should win, fo sho.
Why’s that? The tread creator asked for reasons!
