I wish I could take pictures this well.
I can’t wait for the 20th!
This is the first Presidential Portrait to be taken on a digital camera, and this was taken on then new Canon 5D Mark II with a 105mm lens stopped to f/10 at a 1/125 exposure, and an ISO of 100.
Taken by Pete Souza.
The New Mona Lisa! Is he smiling or frowning?
Neither, I’d say he’s Looking serious / responsible / eloquent / intelligent.

The New Mona Lisa! Is he smiling or frowning?
Ignorance on one side, stupidity on the other?
I take it that you weren’t an Obama supporter, Gilby?

I don’t support the use of force. I do not support the protection racket Obama is going to soon lead. It is simply morally wrong.
I though this would be the official portrait
well he didn’t start a war based on obviouslt errounious information…

Wow, Godwin’s law showed up early in this thread.
I like Obama, but y’all realize that mentioning how much bush sucked to Gilby doesn’t exactly defend Obama, right? False Dichotomy, anyone?
I was talking to Phil.
And I wasn’t trying to prove that Obama is awesome cuz Bush sucks.
I was just pointing out that Bush, who Phil is basically head over heels in mad, intense, passionate love with, is a lot more ignorant than Obama.

Goats, you need to be more specific. I suspect that when it comes to clearing brush, Bush knows a great about this subject whereas Obama is more than likely woefully ignorant.

I don’t know about that.
Bush would burn the brush. Obama would make mulch.
It’s a pleasing portrait with a presidential expression. For comparison’s sake here Bush’s.
And here is the official legacy portrait for the Smithsonian Presidential portrait gallery.
