Poem/Rhyming Story Game

First off: I hate writing poems and haven’t written one since junior high but for some reason I really wanted to write a unicycle poem. Also, if they don’t rhyme I don’t like poems. So mine rhymes.

He pulls the object from the wall,
he’s determined to master it once and for all.
The first step is to mount,
which he has taken into account.
With one foot on the pedal, the other on the ground,
he lifts it off and pushes it around.
Balance is the key to mastering this unique invention,
arms out straight and pay attention.
He knows he’ll take many spills,
if he can’t learn the basic skills.
But he’s up and riding, zipping away,
and actually putting on quite a display.
A man rides past sitting on a bicycle,
The boy waves to him, riding his unicycle.

Now, for the game. Many of you have probably played a game around a camp fire or something where a group takes turns adding to a story. Well, I think that would be cool to do here.

Rules: Somebody starts the rhyming poem like mine by writing two rhyming lines of the story. The next person adds the previous lines plus their set of rhyming lines.

Also, it should be about unicycling.

Alright, let’s see how easy this is to do. Sometimes they can turn out pretty funny. Also, RhymeZone is a GREAT place to use if you’re having a hard time coming up with a rhyming word. (I used it A LOT for mine!)

:sunglasses: Cool, let’s get started! Go!!

The man says, “Woah! How do you do that?”
The boy simply replies, “Ride until you go splat.”

Ohh, I meant start a brand new one, but whatever.

And as the person crosses his path
he asks, where is the other half?

Thanks for asking, see you later, good-bye

Umm I dont have any Uni poems but heres one I wrote a while back, jsut dont make fun of me yall…

I may not write YOU very often a note,
so plaease dont take this as a joke.
YOUR still a lil mad,
again it still makes ME feel very bad.
I love YOU so much it makes ME act like a fool,
I didnt think YOUD get so upset about the pool.
YOU are the one IL never want to loose,
IL never sip on booze.
YOUR the only reason IM still alive,
for YOU I will survive.
When the end days are here,
I hope the right way is the way YOU desided to steer.
If YOU ask, for you there is anything I will do,
My heart belongs to YOU,
And the love I have for YOU will always be True.

Always with LOVE,
Cody W.

Aint it like life? Yea, wouldn’t ya know,
His shoelace wraps pedal as he turns to go.

Scraped up and in pain on the ground I lay
Helmet and wrist guards are at home today

Always looking, always mindful,
Look out, rocks can be dreadful.
