i bought one more then a week ago and it still hasnt come anybody else ever tried one or own one?
I canāt fit on one without looking like a tard.
Itās an impractical waste of money if you ask me. The fad will die off in a few years, and only carnies will ride them.
They are very fun, iv riden them a couple times.
My bro had one, and it gave him some legal probsā¦ stopped for driving an unregistered vehicle, but he couldnāt register it legallyā¦ Won in court at least. Kinda funny, we were both known on our respective campuses as āThat Guy who rides the Xāā¦ Him the small fast motor bike, me the taller, slower muni
thats a really fun thing for your friend to haveā¦
Chase
Iām sorry, I donāt understand. Why do you want one of these? Why donāt you just get a real motorb*ke? I rode one for about 5 mins once and thatās all the fun there was in it. No horsepower, not as stable as a full-size, very little suspension, and super dangerous (low visibility, low ground clearance)!
Look in the back your local used auto magazine and youāll find pages of cheap dirtbkes, street bkes, and suchā¦ at least those b*kes have some practicality and resale value. Not to mention you can actually get a good thrill out of 'emā¦ leaning into turns at speed without dragging your kneesā¦ getting a good start off the line without having to go full throttleā¦ having enough seat to give a cute girl a ride
But, whatever, itās your purchase, just make sure you treat it like a real bike. Wear full body protection: kevlar/leather gloves, jacket & pants, boots, full face helmetā¦ jeans and a sweatshirt wonāt save your skin when you hit the road at 20+ mph! (does it even go that fast?) Have fun, send us some action pics when you get it running.
Iāve not ridden one of the ones in your pic, but I can say that little bikes are great fun, Iāve had this one since I was nine:
Iāve even got a little bolt-on sidecar to go with it, although it did spend a couple of years with full size wheels:
Well you can always get a quad, if you dont want to go on the b*ke
Yeah, bearing in mind that in Britain atleast you cannot ride those on the road, pavement or any public area, i should imagie that itās the same pretty much everywhere because itās an unlicensed vehicle and not considered road-worthy. I think thereās going to be a spate of serious accidents involving these things, as the riders usually have had no training, no safety gear and ride in unsuitable areas. i know thereās already been one death in Britain, a kid who was about 10 ran one at 35mph in to a steel pole. Iām afraid i agree with maestro8, they look cool but iād really go for a normal size bike that you can ride on the road if you want.
dont player hate on the pocket bikes. i wanted one so i could get to work faster(its like 7 miles away) but my parents wouldnt let me. dang laggers
I wouldnāt think ālaggersā would mean ādonāt want you to die on a toy motorbike that isnāt legal on the roads that lead to your work.ā Is that what it means?
AMEN, like I saidā¦ theyāre lame and im-practical. The only time i see them is at car shows, most of us hate them, because they weave dangerously close to people, and even worseā¦ our cars.
Donāt waste your time or money on the peices of crap. Buy a real bike, or even better, a car.
already own a car and it opnly cost me 150$
Ifyoualready own a car, then why waste the money on a poor peice of transporation. Shoulda bought something coolā¦ like a brain transplant.
While I have never ridden one, I think they look kinda cool. They seam pretty stupid when compared to full size motorcycles and cars, but if you consider them more as a two wheeled go kart, it seems better. Some of the cheap ones may not have much power, but the really nice ones supposedly can go 70+ mph.
My uncle got one and its falling apart after like 5 months. I wouldent get one. I have a go-ped there fun, not as fast but way more muniverable and good for jumps. lets so you jump that thing.
Yeah, like a two-wheeled go-kart, who owns a go-kart to drive to work or mess about in the street in ? Oh and thereās one major difference, you can sustain even a fairly high speed accident in a kart without suffering major injury. Spend the money on a coker.
150$ where can i get a coker that cheap?
They look cool, but theyāre hella noisy and definitely inpractical. There already outlawed in 90% of all roads in American and Iām positive itāll be 100% pretty soon. Get a moped or a Vespa-type scooter. Some go faster than 70 mph and theyāre actually legal and practical. They may cost more, but think of all the bonuses like not getting arrested, being able to not kill yourself on itā¦the list goes onā¦
