I don’t know how to answer your questions, but I will mention that I achieved
one of my life goals this summer, which was to throw and catch a boomerang
while on the unicycle. I tried it it at the NUC in Bowling Green. The problem
is that I’m not confident enough to do it on a parking lot where I can maneuver
well(I didn’t want to scrape up the boomerang on asphalt), so I did it on a
baseball field. My catch percentage is fairly low, but I got enough of them to
make it fun.

So I’m 42 years old, wear glasses and have a right foot amputation… Why does
my wife think I’ve spun a bearing?
Last year I got in with alt.boomerang and began throwing (And catching)
alt.boomerangs. Now I make competition 'rangs for the senior high kids
at church.
I used to ride a uni back in 1968, one was a Columbia and the other was
a Schwinn.
The boomerangs back then were jive copies of old aborigine models. (Meant for
hunting Yaks or something) they weren’t meant to return.
My question is, Is there an alt.Unicycle/boomerang.oldster newsgroup?
And if you have a minute, drop the lovely Denise a note and tell her My chain is
still on the sprocket.

You didn’t mention that you are riding unicycles now. If you are not, you must
be crazy. Bill Jenack, founder of the Unicycling Society of America, once wrote
of a one legged man who learned to ride a unicycle using a crutch on the empty
pedal. You may have already thought of something similar that is appropriate in
your case.
