today i was cleaning my room and were guessing my dog went outside and from there jumped into the compost pile my stepdad came home and he wouldn’t move turns out apperantly when he jumped out of the compost he hit his front right armpit and there is now a bit hole there about half an inch wide, it was not bleeding bad but just a little bit, we took him to the vet and they will have to put him in anesthitic and then stitch it up. the only good thing coming out of it is that he will get a free little fix up thing he didnt need bad but he will then get.
so if you could please pray for my dog browser i would love it as tomorrow is the day he gets stitchs, this is the biggest thing he has had besides a shot.
so please pray for “BROWSER”
thank you
Sorry about that… I’ll keep him ion my “prayers.”
BTW- its Browser a Whippet or a
Greyhound or what? He’s a cool looking dog.
he is a whippet
sorry to hear about that. I’l pray.
I know what its like to have dogs hurt. My last dog, a german shorthaired pointer, got mauled by a mountain lion. Wasn’t pretty.
DOgs are tough, they can lose a leg and not be affected…
My dogs have had holes in them, peices of wood lodged in their bodies, bee stings to the face, and all sort of wounds. Thier 10 and 11 and still run around like they are 2 or 3.
You have no need to worry, Bowser will live to fight Mario a fortnight.
On the bright side it is fortunate that the cut is in the front armpit (legpit?) instead of on the rear leg. Since it is on the front legpit Browser probably won’t have to wear one of those bucket things over his head to prevent him from licking and chewing on the stitches. If it was on the rear leg he’d have to sport the head gear.
The late Riley, our male Golden, was famous for licking at hot spots. He had one on his tail that we were finally able to clear up. But then he started on his right front foreleg and would lick it raw when we were away from the house. It was either his obsessive-compulsive answer to boredom or his way of punishing us for leaving him alone, even with our other Golden there to keep him company.
So Riley wore the satellite dish around his neck whenever we were not home or we went to bed. It was most frustrating at night because the thing would crash against walls and doors as he moved through the house at night. It sure didn’t make for good sleeping conditions.
well yes he will have to were the collar because he has already liked it alot! but it will be alright because he’s small so he hopefully wont run into as much stuff
awwwww what a cutie pie! I’m sure he’ll be just fine!
his stictches went great he woke up about an hour ago he is still really tired, they wont let us take him home until he is fully awake and alert so it could still be awhile, but he is fine!!!
Thats good to hear. Glad he ok.
Not my dog Sam. One ear was shreded, the other was gone, one leg was torn off (yes torn) an eye was gashed apart, ribs broken, and he had multiple scratches all over. All from a stupid mountain lion.
The dog we had before him jumped through a barb wire fence and ripped her belly open. Stiches, and she was fine. Lived another several years to get hit by a car.
Then the dog we have now, when we first got him, chewed on the TV cord, and got electracuted. Next day, fine.
i was wrong my mom just called and he has a drain in his leg,(the surgery did go fine i guess) but it turns out that he has flesh eating bacteria
so he will be on antibiotics three times a day, apparently it grows really fast and is already in his shoulder.
so please keep browser in your prayers
thank you
i just picked him up from the vet is whole leg is all puffy and if you press it it feels like there is air pockets, which there is gas pockets in is skin cells, which is why it feels that way.
please pray for him,
thank you
You squeezed his bandages?!?!?! Thats just mean.
no, its only under is armpit he has bandages and two drains, my dog is very much in pain,i would not want to hurt him more, i love him, the vet told us whole leg is fine only its puffy, but we touched it no where near his bandage’s
please pray,
thank you
Hi Habby Wall,
My Milton (half whippet hald sheperd) had those bacteria in a deep gouge on his side years ago. He was on heavy antibiotics and they had to cut out the dead tissue, but he was fine. That was 12 years ago.
He’s sleeping on the couch right now, no worse for the wear.
Lots of pats on the head and maybe sig to him or play quiet music. (Stop laughing you non-dog people!)
All the best and a ful and speedy recovery for the guy!
B
Habbywall,
How is Boswer doing?
Check you PMs.
Thanks, B
his arm is almost like no skin actually alittle more then half but hes getting better because it will just be a big scar
Yikes! That hurts! Sure hope your pooch recovers swift-like! I looooove My dog, and would be just sick if she were to suffer so. My condolances.
As to your request for my petition for devine intervention on the behalf of your dog, I will have to decline. God can be wrathfull, be it tword dogs or men; far be it from me to petition the devine for a change of will -weather it be for the better of my dog, body, team, country- or yours. Still, if God chooses to take your dog, or just his leg/health/peace, let us know; perhaps we could build a new God from unicycles, and fill it’s many parts with Mirth, Kindness.
