Well did you check to see if the keyboards plugged in, or maybe you have a mild case of down syndrome. Are your parents heavy drinkers? So what is it, wireless? Wireless using usb? Wireless using reciever to ps2? Or is it wired? Wired usb? Wired ps2?
It could be dead batteries, dying keyboard, bas ps2 port, or bad usb port. Or a combination of all of thsoe things. Good thing keyboards and mouses are cheap if you need a replacement.
Just do some troubleshooting. Keyboards and mouses are easy to work with.
