I almost feel guilty about lowering the tone…
As you may or may not be aware the weekend just gone was World Naked Bike Ride weekend. I attended the London ride on Saturday and the Brighton one on Sunday as my chafed thighs and stripey sunburn can attest.
They were both a great larrf but have the say the Brighton ride was much more enjoyable; fewer pervs, more time to get painted up before and party afterwards and there was the wondrosity of finishing on the beach and going for a swim afterwards.
My sister was also at the London ride on her Coker and there was a chap on a giraffe and a penny farthing-ist on the Brighton ride.

I did another of my usual evening rides around the neighbourhood bike / walking paths last night. I was all over the place for about an hour and grabbed a few quick shots on my phone…
I attended a Cycle Shrewsbury event as invited and went on the track, got people trying out some of my uni’s and three or four people actually rode too!
Great day riding from 9:30am - 4pm but sunburnt my neck. Pleasure & Pain!
One guy came over and said he’d been watching my youtube vids and was asking loads of good questions! That was cool.

Out this morning for an early MUni ride. I had a rattlesnake encounter also! Plus, I’m upset because my HD camcorder toppled into a stream while I was setting up a shot! It was on my mini tripod on a slightly slanted slope, and as soon as I looked away to check the shot, I heard something so I looked back but it was too late! It was already about to make a splash! I thought it was ok since I snatched it just as it hit the water, but soon after that it died! 
I hope I can send it in under warranty!
Open everything up & dry it in the sun ASAP!
I dropped a phone in water and 45 min later dried it and it sort-of worked for another year.
Yeah, open it all up and leave it on a sunny shelf for a couple of days.
Madison dropped his phone down the crapper and it was fine after drying out.
haha, funny you saying that! Well, first thing I did when I got home was to use a hair blower on medium to help evaporate any residual moisture. Probably a lot in there I can’t see. Anyway, right after that, it turned on, but only for about 10 secs, and I was able to remove the dv tape. Hasn’t turned back on since.
But i did exactly what you guys suggested and put it in my backyard with the tape hatch open, in the sun. it’s not overly hot at this time of day so i don’t think it will get sun damage. I’ll check it in a few hours. Yeah, hopefully that will work. thanks!:o
Hallelujah! My HD camcorder-that accidentally fell into a stream at the trail earlier this morning, has been revived! Thanks for the tips guys, I was worried for a while there! :D:D:D:D
If that hadn’t worked I was going to suggest going and finding a bunch of this stuff disassemble the camera and stick the pieces in a bucket of that for a few days. That’s how I saved my phone(s) haha one fell in the toilet the other was soaked on a coker ride in the rain. Also saved my camera once which had been soaked in the rain and has continued to work for years after.
