When my kids were young they had so many activities scheduled that time for indulging dads hobbies were not on the agenda. I will say at that point in time between involvement in our kids activities, running a business and a household I was regrettably not cycling at all. My regret is that I did not plan some family cycling outings at least on vacations.
The kids say that vacations are for swimming, not riding a bike. That would be punishment.
That is really sad to hear.
I went on a short 10km ride to test the new setup with the 114mm cranks on the 29er before picking up a friend at the train station. I didn’t test it uphill though because I joined him on the bus back up.
It looks like a large freestyle uni with the white tire ![]()
It’s gray.
and the reason I have it is because it was on sale. It’s not my favourite tyre to ride. But it has to be used anyway.
Was Not my last ride but my last ride with the 36”. 10,5 km and 37 Elevation Metres. It was a Sunny day and Not too cold.
Wow picking a friend up on a unicycle, very efficient.![]()
are those reflectors on ur spokes?
They look like 3M clip-on spoke reflectors. They are very small and light, grab the spokes well for road riding (you have to be careful off-road) and they are as efficient than traffic signs ![]()
Yes, they’re spoke reflectors like these VELOMARKER Speichenreflektoren but colored. I don’t exactly know what brand and where they come from, it was a gift from my wife. ![]()
Im jealous. My wife only speaks negatively of my unicycles.
That’s very sad ![]()
After not touching a unicycle for more than a year, last week my wife gave it another try and for the first time cycled 30m of a wall without my help. We’re slowly getting there. At this rate she’ll be able to ride longer distances in time for retirement - in 20 years. ![]()
In the Morning I ride the 36” wheel.14 km in a bit more than 1 hour but a made a stop by a Shop and bought my Things that I need. In the afternoon i ride my 24”. 6 km With 127 Elevations Metres. The both rides was very funny and good. The Purble Pedal from Temu are also very good. 11,30 Euro i pay for it. It’s amazing this cheap Pedal. I hope it don’t broke.
This morning I wanted to ride to a nature area, where other times I rode there, there were many birds and I recently bought new binoculars that I can connect my phone to, to take pictures. I took the trials uni coz next month I will go to a uni workshop and it has the right size to use. Well there bitds had all flown, but I did have a nice 10km ride
Riding across the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Once a year only event where people can ride across the bridge which normally bans cycling except on a seperate path. 10,000+ bikes and 3 unicycles (including me) that I know of.
