For those of you who care or are interested. In today’s copy of ‘The Sun’
there is a picture of some Chinese girls on a unicycle. Before anyone who
knows me starts taking the p#ss… the ‘paper’ in question was purchased by
my apprentice. Obviously he still has a lot to learn!
The picture can be found on page 38 or online at

Now when you spot the deliberate deception perpetrated by the Sun Newspaper I want you all to be sensitive about AndyN’s feelings…
Wow, it sure does look like a unicycle at first glance!
But those “fan” pictures usually do. The rest of the bike has a tendency to get buried. I think the rider on the bottom doesn’t fear a crash so much as she fears neck problems…
I think the record is 13 or 14 in one of those poses.
I feel sorry for the person on the bottom, i think ive seen that picture before somewhere or maybe on a video…
I’ve seen this trick done - the bike is ridden round in a circle whilst the girls jump on one at a time. The circle got more wobbly with the addition of each body. I believe their record is seventeen on a single bike, although when I saw them it was a few less than this. I learned later that during their world tour they had all consumed a little too much junk food resulting in many popped tyres and reduced passenger numbers. I’m told they use solid rubber tyres these days.
