Sorry, but his butt doesn’t look familiar.
It appears to be a black guy, about 6’ tall, on a Schwinn Giraffe. There are an
awful lot of unicyclists in New York City though. One thing that stands out
about this guy is that he doesn’t seem to be concerned about riding in the
middle of the street!
Notice how all the New Yorkers rudely stare at him?
Our first unicycle group ride (9 riders total) was in NY City. Riverside Park to
Central Park and out. There are pictures of that ride on www.muniac.com
including one of Jeannie riding down the sidewalk, though not on a giraffe.
People were very nice to us including the cops in CP. We rode through the middle
of an indoor restaurant on our way to Riverside Park. People were even nice
there too. Not every lunch hour includes nine unicyclists. To see the pix, go
down on the home page and click on PICTURES & INFO under NY ride. Later.
While I’m not a NYer, it appears to be near or at times square, the street
appears to be traffic-blocked for some reason (note the rollerblader at the
intersection), and the police car is parked. Amazing lack of traffic & people
for that area.

I know this is a dead-end thread…so I decided to use this instead of opening a new one, esp. since there aren’t any “New York City” threads…
I am in NYC, Brooklyn to be precise. I am here (8/14-8/16) to shoot my doc on unicycling on Saturday, but it’s Friday and I have nothing to do right now. Anyone want to unicycle?? I have my 20", 24", BC, and UW.
Give me a call or text (my # temp. in my “visitor messages”) ~Joey
