Im having some minor problems, when i try to use the type tool the woring (text) is tiny, even when its at max size. The image is only 419 x 300, and at 100% magnifacation (sp?) im not sure what to do, anyone know?
Did you change the point size of the text? Some large number (like 72) should make the text big.
Unless the resolution is small (go to menu Images then Image Size and look at the “Resolution” setting). Make the resolution 300 pixels/inch or even 72 pixels/inch. When you do this, UNclick “Resample Image” before pressing Okay. This way, it won’t change the image size (419x300), it will only change the scale. Point size is related to inches, so if the pixels per inch is wrong, the point size will be wrong too.

yeah, even 1282 (max?) is too small
I still think it’s the resolution.
I just made an image 419 x 300. I made the resolution 1 pixel/inch. That made the text really small, even with a point size of 1282.
Go to the “Images” menu. Then “Image Size…”
Look for the resolution setting. Make it 72 or 300 pixels/inch. Unclick the checkbox “Resample Image” and press Okay. I tihnk this will fix your problem.

i got it from 1001fonts.com, its called “The Battle Continuez”
I didn’t know about that site. I’m going to check them out. I’m designing a t-shirt for a friend (for his restaurant). I need an old-fashioned-looking font. I stupidly didn’t know you could get fonts for free (duh, you can get everything for free today). Thanks! You just solved MY problem.
