peter...ever used xoom.com ?

Hi Peter,

I recently had a vendor from PH ask me to submit payment via Xoom.com. Have
you ever used it?

Sounds like a pretty neat way to send payments to your country.

No I personally haven’t tried using them. But I have heard people use
them with no problem.

Seems to have worked pretty well.

Maybe you could consider using them in the future?

It allows you to accept PayPal payments from US Residents (as well as echeck
payments and direct credit card payments).

The sender of the payment pays the fees and you can pick up the money at a
local bank branch.

Thanks for the tip, Rodney - I’ll look into it. the only reluctance I
have about signing up with them is they automatically convert the US$ to
our local currency. The rates they use are far lower than the other
“money changers” I use. I prefer to receive payment is US$ because the
exchange rate varies from day-to-day and I only change what I need for a
given period - the rest remains in a US$ account. But thanks again.

BTW, do you have an aff link - just in case I decide to sign up?

Nope, no affiliate link this time  I just thought it looked pretty neat.

I can understand about the exchange rate thing though, I didn’t know that’s
how it worked on your end.
