Im so mad right now. I was in a great mood listening to music and waiting to get out of the school parking lot to go for a unicycle ride and a gatorade bottle hits my hood. It was thrown from a car in front of me with 3 guys i dont even know. Then something else hits my hood. I get behind them and on the next two lane road i pull next to him and say “Dont you ever throw crap at my car or anyones car” and pull in front of them (legally and not like in a mean way) to get into the turn lane. While waiting at the next light with them behind me they start throwing more crap at my car. Sounded like coins or something. Weve got time so i get out of my car (see all of their faces) go to his open window (i dont reach for him or intend to hit him.) and say “If you throw any more stuff at my car ill be back with my crowbar.” i walk back to my car and he tries to hit me with his car. The light turns green and i turn off onto a sidestreet to my house and he keeps going.
I got my car painted a couple months ago. After today i have 2 scratches on the front of my car and some marks on the back from whatever else they threw. I dont really give a crap about my car but this is a matter of having respect. (i do want those scratches fixed though)
Its so lame that people are like this. I was in such a good mood just planning to go home and ride my unicycle in the nice weather and those a**hats had to put me in a bad mood.
They park in the same general area as me in school and i should have no problem getting a license plate number or having a chance to chat with the driver. What do you suggest i do?
Find out who he is. Talk to his parents, and if they are rude, go to cops. Is there any particular reason why they did this to you? Besides being tight pants punks?
Or sprinkle cheese at the bottom of his front windshield, and his car will smell like cheese, forever.
OR, put three cans of shaving cream into liquid Nitrogen, then peel the metal off and you have three blocks of shaving cream, then put the blocks into the car and as they heat up they’ll expand and completely fill the car with shaving cream.
no, ive never talked to them and i treat everyone with respect so i don’t think they are some unknown arch nemesis’ of mine. i believe they are seniors. im talking to security in school tomorrow. i just looked at my car again and those scratches are pretty big.
Hmm, I fail to see how that would constitute retribution. Personally, I think that smelling like cheese is possibly the coolest thing that any car can do. Ever. But, maybe it’s just me.
Should have done what i did a few years ago. A group of young kids threw and egg as they drove past which hit my car, so i pulled out from the traffic and gave chase. When they finally stopped to turn across the traffic i just drove up begin them and didn’t bother to stop. CRASH!!! That’ll teach the little fuckers! Then when the kid got out his car i told him that he “damaged my car so now we’re even” and just drove off laughing. Funny thing is i think it was probably his parents car. Try explaining that. Oh the front of my car was already smashed so you could tell there was any new damage though. LOL I have a good laugh every time i think about it.
Hate to ruin the revenge party, but these punks engaged in a crime of destruction of private property and vandalism. Had you followed through on your threats of retaliation, you would have been guilty of the same. They probably would have had room in the paddy wagon for the lot of you. THe reason the punks did not stop their spree at your first request is because they didn’t place a value on your threats. Had you not said anything and immediately let your crowbar do the talking, they might have placed some value in that. Unfortunately for you, we’d be back at statement #1.
If the incident occured on school property, I believe the school has some jurisdiction. Go to the administration to report. You might be surprised that you may not be the only one. Think back for some witnesses. Any friends walking or riding nearby? DO NOT retaliate to their vehicle. You’ll start a war or something worse that you’ll regret. Let the powers handle the issue in the proper manner. (I know, I’m a big spoilsport :()
If the problem occured off-campus, it becomes a city police thing. I would file a report if for no other reason than to have something on file in case you want to submit an insurance claim. Again, you might be surprised that your police report might not be the only one. Matter of fact, I bet the police already have them in custody. Man, now I envy you. You get to do one of those exciting police lineup deals. Always wanted to do that. Maybe the police will let you throw small hard objects at them.
Keep us informed. Always neat to see the end of the story.
