pedal bushing

Has anyone ever locktited, epoxyed, or simply screwed a 9/16" x1/2" bushing into a crank as a repair or as a way to use the smaller pedal size? I know the wall thickness of the bushing is thin but the tightened male pedal thread should make it all solid . Helicoils do the same job for stripped threads.

I would just use 9/16" pedals. The bushing would be 1/32" at its thickest though if you find one its should work find. I wouldn’t try locktite or epoxy because you couldn’t keep in it the middle of the hole and at that much clearence it think it would just come out. I’m not sure though.

Whats your reason for wanting a different size?
