PayPal banned in Louisiana

The state of Louisiana thinks that PayPal is running a bank without a
license and has ordered them to stop transferring money to/from residents of
Louisiana.

NY thinks so too, but hasn’t taken action yet

California is thinking about it

X.com didn’t have a license, they had a partnership with a bank and that
partnership was abandoned when they merged with PayPal

Fuck! I hope it doesn’t happen in CA or NY – those population bases
are so large it would make paypal obsolete.
