Pashley / Mountain Uni's

Well, since my first unicycle, a cheap 24" CyclePro, has been dead for more than a year now, I think it’s about time to upgrade to a “real” mountain unicycle. I would like to spend less than $500…

It seems that the Pashley 26" MUni is the standard recommendation in this price range, but which variety should I get? It looks like the Pashley Power MUni might be a good deal. But is the Power MUni with the Miyata saddle worth the extra $30? Should I be looking into anything else besides a Pashley?

Also, are there any good MUni videos out there?

Thanks a bunch!

I would definetly recommend getting the Power Pashley.

Yes! You need some sort of handle for mountain unicycling. Miyata is the
easiest option.

Thats almost exacly the same position I was in, although my 20in CyclePro
isn’t quite dead yet. I went all the way and got the Pashely Power MUni
with Myata seat, and I’m very happy with it. If you havn’t ridden in a
Myata seat before, you will be blown away by how much more comfortable it
is than that brick of a seat on a CyclePro. And thats before the airseat
conversion. Also, the handle is indispensable.

There’s a cool one of Kris Holm at http://www.xtremeride.com/ its pretty
long, but well worth the download.

Ok, thanks for the help! Yeah, the Cyclepro seat was horrible. I almost considered quitting unicycling because the seat was so bad, until someone told me that it was only those cheap Cyclepro-type seats that were really bad. So, I guess I’ll go with the Power MUni with the Miyata seat. Now if only I could decide what color…

Wow - that looks like a good film from the first 45 seconds or so… but
the fact that I’ve only seen that much tells me I could really do with a
quicker connection!
