"partial" Nimbus Oregon, 26" Large Marge XC AND 29" Rabbit Hole

My son is in his final year of high school, then he heads to college. In anticipation of his move (and ours) I am selling my Oregon and building him an Oracle 26/29. Because I am building up a new uni, I will be keeping some of the parts from the Oregon (seat, seat post, pedals, brake).

Here’s what I have for sale:

Oregon Frame with D Brake
Oregon 36h hub laced to a Surly Large Marge 65mm XC rim
Oregon 32h hub laced to a Surly Rabbit Hole 50mm rim
26" X 4" Surly Larry 27tpi wire bead with tube
26" x 4" Vee Rubber Devist8or kevlar folding bead with tube
29 x 2.35 Hans Dampf with tube
KH Moments in a variety of lengths, buyers choice (137, 150, 165, 137/165).

The goal of this sale is to find a buyer who wants the frame and both complete wheels with tires and cranks.

All the buyer would need to provide is a 25.4 seat post, a seat, and a disc brake.

I have not come up with a price, so I’m looking for offers first. Please look on UDC to figure out what things cost before making low ball offers. I’ll put a price up as I work through offers.

The Rabbit Hole rim and 32h hub are new, rare, and costly. I may consider selling that wheel seperately, but preference goes to the person who wants the whole enchilada! I do not have a Knard tire for sale, sorry.

Please don’t ask about buying parts, I am not selling parts, so please don’t ask.

I’ll post pics this weekend.

Buyer pays shipping, no sales outside the lower 48 USA.

I’m closing the thread to avoid clutter, so send me a PM for more information.

Well, that was quick! The Oregon and associated pieces are SOLD!

Knoxuni (Wes) came back to TN for a visit, and while enjoying his freewheel uni experience, we got to talking, next thing ya know we made a switcharoo, he gets the Oregon and my son gets a KH 26, nice!

I love it when a plan comes together :stuck_out_tongue:

Is Wes going to post his impressions of the freewheel?

HARD, my huge ankle will agree. On a side note im building one soon

What size wheel? I’m working with a local bike shop to build a 26" freewheel. I’m getting tired of pedaling so much on long rides! I’ll see how it handles in comparison to the 20" wheel. It should roll over obstacles better but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do 180 turns as easily. 20" may be better for a skatepark type environment, at least at my size. We’ll see.

I want a 20in for the club but I rode a 24 today
