Since my son recently registered an account here, I thought I would ask if there are other parent/children combinations active here.

Yes. My son posts on here, and has about 1000 posts fewer than I do.
By “children”, do you mean those small people? You know, the new people. Recently born. The ones without jobs. (well, maybe they get paid off the books for odd jobs around the house) The non-voting, non-smoking, non-drinking people with little hands and little feet who never have to shave?
Because if my 77 year old mother decides to take up unicycling and make an account here, then that might constitute a “parent/children* combination” of a different sort which you may or may not be interested in.

yes the same argument applies to the parent/child parking spaces, if you use them at the age of 23 people frown at you
I was thinking in general terms, as in offspring, seed, spawn, etc.
It made me chortle a bit. Therefore I don’t think it was pointless. I wish I could get my parents to unicycle, but they’d just complain about being too old for it.

I’m pretty sure mine would suspect me for trying to send them to an early grave.
my parents just think its ridiculous, and have recommended a safety unicycle (it has another wheel for reasons i cant work out
