Yeah Darren was wearing glasses that day, and I was riding the shoe-ni. It was a great parade when it was moving.
Some updated Shoenicycle history: it was partially built buy the “Unicycle Factory” many years ago in the states, then completed and assembled by Darren. The shoes are bolted to a welded steel wheel frame. It is crazy heavy, hard to turn, and has quite the bumpy ride. Me and Jeff have ridden it for many parades but it is property of the Bedford Collection
