Hey guys im thinking of buying the Panasonic PV-GS320 video camera. I will be making short films and me on my uni with it. I want high quality but not to expensive and this one looks like the right one. Can you tell me if this is a good camera because you have it or u no about it. Any info about this camera would be great.
One question can you attach a microphone to it if i want good sound if i wanted to film a guy playing guitar or something? My brother plays guitar and i was wondering if i could film him with this camera and not get distorted crappy sound when he plays.
Thats what I have. It is good, the colors look nice and its pretty high quality. There is no external mic jack so that is one downside if you are going to use it for stuff like that.
Thats the camera I filmed my flat vid with if you have seen it.
yeh well my brother usually records his guitar on the computer anyway so i could probably film him play with no audio then wen i edit it ill put the audio in then.
I dont mind hearing landings, pedals spinning and some other noise that comes along when filming, but some parts should be removed because they distract from the movie and music. =p
I liked the type of shots and camera angles you used they were very afective. The werent to amzing but they made it look really nice. How do you do that thing at the start? The advertisment thing. Do you make it with adobe or another program??
I have also been considering a purchase of this camera sometime this summer.
Spencer, what camera did you use to film your other movies? Your BC wheel movie with evan and your feb vid with cody seemed to be about the same quality as your flat land vid.
The BC wheel movie and feb vid were both filmed with Evan’s camera. Evan’s is a 3CCD panasonic also. I think mine (the pv-gs320) is a newer version of his but I am not sure. His was way more expensive. I don’t know the model number.
