yup i just painted it white.
what do you guys think?
Nice!
Maybe you should cut an inch of your seat post though, so you dont have it sticking out.
its on my "to-do list. i gunna drill it out so its lighter too.
That thing is sexy!!
Good work, nice detailing. I really wouldn’t drill it tho, seatposts are the weak link on any trials unicycle, the benfits wouldn’t be worth the hassle.
Mostly just the top breaking at the welds.
That’s a nice unicycle. i agree with kington99 about not drilling it. In the long run
it wouldn’t be worth the $$ fixing it if something goes wrong. Especially on a trials unicycle.
Merry Christmas and happy new year. Also welcome to unicyclist.com my friend.
What type of paint did you use? It looks sweet!!!:
Thats a nice change to a Norco M-uni, I painted my M-uni frame cream, so its a bit similar.
Cooool.
i used 3 coats of krylon white primer then i sanded it. then applied 4 coats of generic white k mart spray paint. then i wet sanded it with 2000 sandpaper. after that i applied 3 coats of krylon polyurethane clear coat.
i put some sanfu pedals on it today cause i didnt like how the white ones looked
im thinking about repainting the cranks cause they didnt turn out so well but all they are going to do is just get trashed. this aint no beauty pageant so i dont really care.
Hey you’ve the exact same make of uni as mine… is yours of any model specifically? Because I think that the uni’s being stuck with a sticker and sold off as other brands…
i have no idea what model it is. i bought it in europe from a local bike shop. but i have seen frames exactly like this one. so idk.
That’s my uni. It’s the exact same thing. I painted the rim pink but it’s an Alex too.
hey man locks nice I tried to do that but lol didn’t turn out very good I just sanded it and pot 3 cots of spry paint on it. it chips like crassey what did u use fore primer thx timj
Did you put the primer onto the chrome without sanding the chrome first? I’m curious as to how this will hold up… chrome doesn’t give paint much to stick onto… let us know how it goes!
i used krylon white primer
i wirewheeled the frame untill it became dull, then i sanded it with a corse grit sand paper then a finer grit sandpaper. then i applied the primer.
the paint holds up very very very well because of the 3 coats of polyurethane clear coat. it makes it super strong. i would recommend spending the extra $3 for the stuff i swear by it.
where did you get those white pedals?
I was just going to ask that. Englishkiwi will be along here soon lol
im here…
and no i dont need white pedals anymore…
found some at halfords lol.
they looked ok,i think ill just get them.
matt.
