And your point is what? Photoshop also does something similar when you
try scanning money into it (from what I’ve read). Seems to be common
security feature these days.

I think it’s spotty, too. I’ve scanned in dollars and cents, one of the
first things I tried when I heard about this (last year? year before?).

I tried copying and pasting images from the treasury’s website into PSP
in the past and immediately received a message explaining that wasn’t
gonna be allowed lol.
