Padding the Sides of your seat

I put some automotive hose under the lip of my seat (in the bottom right
quadrant where I grab for seat for seat in front moves) to improve hand comfort.
Oddly enough, my skill seemed to improve from it as well.

On mine I slit the 5/8" i.d. heater hose and shoved it between the carbon fiber
base and the roach cover. Is this the best place for it, or is it better over
top of the Roach cover? (though how you’d get it to stay on is a mystery to me.)
Is there anything else people have used to improve comfort when grabbing the
side of the seat?

Thanks,

Chris Reeder

Re: Padding the Sides of your seat

I’ve done the exact same thing using a garden hose. Mine also sits under the
roach seat cover (I too am not sure how one would get it to stay on top of
the cover).

It really helps a lot!
