I’ve got it yesterday, but it was too dark for my camera to record anything so I’ve got it again today. Wasn’t that easy to do it again even if I landed it 5 times in a row yesterday.
I was going to do a vid the other day when I had the whole day off, but I woke up with my back all crooked and couldn’t ride all day! I should be back later, if not then tomorrow I will get one up. That is a promise.
totally forgot about this game. at work right now, and the shed I’ve been using is packed full of cardboard right now, so this is the best I can do. if it isn’t good enough, I will try getting a better shot when I get home tonight.
btw, thanks for the bruised up ankles >_<
bah, youtube problems, brb
Actually it should be 7*24h from the moment it was set, because we live in different time zones, so Sunday is not exactly the same moment for everybody. First trick was set
2011-03-06, 03:33 PM UTC, so the deadline should be 2011-03-13, 03:33 PM UTC. This way is the easiest as anybody can just open the post with the trick and see his local time for it. The other option is that we define the constant deadline, but then there is a problem if the trick is not set fast enough.
I think this time we can accept it (but it should be up to headcamguy as he set the trick) because it’s a start of the game and we’re just getting in.
BTW trialfreak you’ve just choosen my worst unicycling points
what is a left or right side idle? going from centre, then forward left, then back to centre? this is entirely beyond me at this point, I still can’t even get more than 3 or 4 revs before completely loosing balance. the only way I can stay mounted on the thing is hopping around like a moron
I call it by which foot is down, so I mount with my right foot down, so I can idle ok with that side (which I call right side) but if I put my left foot down and try to idle I am not very good.
EDIT: I think the foot that is mostly controlling the idle is the downward foot right?
Right, in fact, the upward foot does almost nothing, thats why you can do 1-foot idling. I had problems on idling with my non dominant foot too, (left one) i couldn make enough pressure on the pedal to idle (because of a weak leg, i guess??) , so i put my right foot on the frame and practiced 1 ft left idlling while holding a wall, until my leg was sore, did that for a couple days and that worked fine to both left idling and 1 ft left idling without help
Now it’s Monday for most of us so I allowed myself to update the table:
