I’ve been searching for some time for a different brand of trials tire other than Monty but it seems to be all I can find. Can anybody point me in the right direction? I’m just simply bored of my tire and when it runs out of tread I want something new.
20", 24" or 26" tire?

me too uniryder,i want to try somthing differant.all thats differant and would fit is the Onza tyre.i dont know if these are for sale in the US yet.the tire on the due to come out (if ever) KH trials uni isnt listed as a Monty so there may be another choice…
The Trials tire I have is called a “Luna” it looks exactly like an onza, and is probably (my guess) what’s coming on the new Kris Holm model.

how is the Luna campared to a Monty?does it seem to ware out faster or slower?lighter heavier?etc.?
I believe Duro makes the tire for the KH 20" and it is a 19x2.5" like the monty and the onza.

I stock 26" Monty Trials unicycles.
Sure makes the ride to the place to hop around a lot nicer than a 20".

Last time I looked Megamo (I’m sure that’s not how it’s spelt…) mod b*kes used “Plasmatic” (questionable spelling again I’m afraid) rear tyres of similar proportions to the Monty and Onza. I never did manage to find out any more info though

they should make a 24,i dont see why a Trials tire maker wouldnt.they sould make a 22" too;)
the luna tyre is the onza tyre.
imho they are actualy better made than montys, and they don’t mark the floor when inside.
Because bike trials only compete in stock (26inch) and mod (20) disciplines. Ie there are no 24inch trials competitions.
If you want a 24 inch trials tyre, use a gaz or duro

If you want to get a 22 inch then help me research the tyre companies.
You’re looking for a 3 inch 22inch 2 ply grasstrack, trials, moped, or kids tyre.
I have a 4 inch tyre that fitts a 19 inch rim that’s waiting (still) for a finished frame.
Where would you get the Onza (Luna) tire?
Oh and by the way… what tire is Kris Holm riding in The One Tired Guy video? The one with the awesome flame design. I think its a 24"
