While we’re on the subject, does anyone know a UK stockist for the
original Converse Chuck Taylor Hi-Tops? I’ve been struggling to find them
for months lately, having worn them for about 15 years. I can’t even find
an online retailer that will ship outside the US.

their policy was if you did not sell at 27.50 they refused to deal with

Is that in Windsor, perchance? And was that recently?

I got some from one of the shoe shops in Neal Street (Covent Garden,
London). All the shops there sell them in most flavours at the moment.
