actor in a supporting role: Matt Dillon
actress in a leading role: Reese Witherspoon
animated feature: Wallace and Grommit
documentary: March of the Penguins
film editing: Munich
best picture: Crash
How about you?
Well I’ve only seen about half of the nominees now, but I am making a point of seeing ALL* of them before March 5th , including all 3 categories of shorts.
*ALL = Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor/Actress/Lead/Supporting, Best Documentary Feature/Short, Best Editing, Best Animated Short, Best Live Action Short.
I’d also like to see all of Best Feature Animation, but Howl’s Moving Castle is currently in limbo between Theaters and DVD it comes out March 7th.
Until I’ve seen all of the nominees I don’t feel fit to make a judgement.
Right now though my rough choices are:
Best Picture: Good Night and Good Luck
Actor: Phillip Seymour Hoffman
Actress: Felicity Huffman
Supporting Actor: Paul Giamatti (really for his previous work kind of like when Russel Crowe won)
Supporting Actress: Amy Adams
Screenplay Original: Crash
These are only the categories where I’ve seen at least 3
I really hope ‘Walk The Line’ gets a lot of awards.
