Onza vs. Monty

I want to buy a uni for trial riding to christmas.
Is there any difference between the onza and the monty tire?

thx

Moritz

Hi Moritz,

There’s not much difference between the 2 but the Monty is slightly fatter
and has a flatter profile than the Onza. So, if you’re looking for a
recommendation, I’d say go Monty!

Cheers, Neil

depends on which monty you want

monty do three types of trials tyres.
Skin wall, has a salmon wall on the side, very thing. good if your a really light rider, not good if you want to run low pressure, flats pretty easy at low pressure.
White line, black tyre, has a white line round the outside, a bit heavier than the skin, but has can run lower pressure in it without flatting.
Black wall, The ultimate trials tyre, i run 12 psi in this baby and havent flatted yet on my uni or my trials bike, heaviest tyre out of them all, but you get more bounce with the lower pressure.
All the tyres have the same tread and the same profile though, go the white or the black! they rock
