I’m thinking of buying this unicycle, but I was wondering how strong it is. Also, on unicycle.co.nz (i think, it might be another one) it says it has a KH saddle. Is this true of the unicycle.com one?

Thanks
Myself along with many other members of this forum have done extensive research on Munis in this price range and have discovered that the best you can get is the Kris Holm 24" for $449. The Onza 24" is the second best muni. So if you have a little extra cash, go with the Kh24.
yea i 2nd that opinion.
the main difference is that the onza has a 2.6 inch wheel instead of 24x3. according to john childs and numerous other brilliant guys, this can make a surprisingly big difference in rolling over obstacles. you simply cannot go wrong with teh kh24. spend the extra 50 bucks. (50 american dollars).

I have an Onza, my mate has a KH. I’ve ridden both and I have to say that I
find the extra weight (several pounds) of the KH to be a significant
disadvantage. That said, that weight translates into extra strength, so I
guess it depends what sort of riding you are going to do. And yes, the onza
does have a KH seat (but with cool Onza branding).

Watch your self with the kh for what i have heard this batch is a bit crappy. The problem is the cranks are getting a lag when you pedal backwards and others. My friend had this and he is in canada so spent a bunch getting though customs and it was a duff uni.Why o why don’t they check them before they send…

To be fair to Onza, I don’t think that the amount of Onza 24" owners is anywhere near the number of KH 24" owners so the majority of opinions are slightly biased.
So far I don’t think anyone has had any problems with the Onza, I can’t remember many cases of crank/hub damage, though a few people had slop in their keyway (me included) but the KHs seem to be going through the same problem at the moment. So I’m not sure where the whole Onza is weaker thing came from.
I have both a KH and Onza hub/crank set and think they are both great.
I haven’t heard a really in depth review of the Onza (24"), whereas I’ve heard dozens for the KH.
I think the KH has gone through a couple generations of evolution and this is Onza’s first go at a muni, so there could be something in that.
Plus I think the Onza will take a 24x3" tyre, tho don’t quote me on that.
If I were to buy a muni now I’d be very very tempted to get the Onza…
