Ok inspired by that guy who traded his way up to a house withone red paperclip im going to do tha same…Only im starting with one pink paperclip and im gunning for a Coker by the end of this.
This is by no means a joke of anykind. Ive already had an offer for my pink paperclip and i hope to see alot more trades in the future.
Ill probably be doing most of my trading on these forums and mostly in this thread. All trades will be conducted as such:
You offer an item of equal or increased value for my item
I will accept the first offer that fits that criteria
I will pay shipping for my item to you and you will pay to ship your item to me.
I will hopefully get a Coker at the end of this.
Im trying to keep all trades within North America as shipping would be outrageous over seas.
Yes i realize that if i save all the money that i would use for shipping i could buy a Coker but this way is more fun.
I hope you guys will take me seriously and no just let this thread die.
I’m rooting for you, but I don’t think it will happen, sorry.
But go for it!!
Unless you get a big enough thing to sell on ebay then buy your coker you can do it, but no one will trade anything for a coker.
Thank you for your spirit lifting and heart warming post…Please go away.
And Blake ill take that tire. PM me your mailing address and ill send away the paperclip as soon as i get some stamps(ill probly send it on Monday cuz i dont gte paid till Thursday and i need money to buy stamps.
Unicyclepa, you’re nuts! He’s going to want my tire WAY MORE than your blue paperclip. Aluminum paperclips don’t hold up at all!
I do like blue better than pink, but I won’t trade the pink paper clip for anything because it will be a part of unicycle history when Trials_Uni gets his Coker!!
The smart way to go about the trading would be to start with a more expensive item about $15 which would save you heaps on multiple shipping costs for lots of small items.
Also aim for something more common than a coker because only a small number of people own a coker compared to the people with other stuff to trade worth the same as a coker (200-400 dollars) which means that by not trading for a coker you will save money. Maybe you can then sell whatever you end up with and get a coker, and still have money left over?
well, umm, lesse. i’ve got a 4 inch wide steel nut(the kind that goes w/bolts) i could be convinced to trade for that wheel (once you get it). i’ve got pics if you want.
or, alternatively, i have…rummages in clost…a crank extractor i dont need that i’d gladly trade.
Well lets just wait till i get the tire before we start bartering for it shall we? I dont like bargaining with money or items that i dont even have in my posetion yet.
But if i start with something more expensive then it takes away from the challenge…Dont you think its cooler to go from something as piddly as a paperclip to something as cool as a Coker? I do and its my dream so boo on you!
for the nut or the extractor? id like a pic of the cranks. and your troubles w/ ebay probably are rooted in the fact that your too young for a credit card.
